In the final year of her international career, Alyssa Naeher won the U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year title for 2024. Naeher, the team’s starting goalkeeper since 2016, played every minute of the 2024 Summer Olympics, where the U.S. took gold. She’s the second goalkeeper in the 40 years the award has been given (Hope Solo won in 2009). She made her 100th U.S. cap on March 3 against Colombia.
