Alex Morgan will play for San Diego Wave FC in 2022, the NWSL expansion club announced on Monday. Curiously, there is no mention of a trade to acquire Morgan from the Orlando Pride. Orlando said in a statement to The Equalizer that the trade has not been completed. The NWSL trade window re-opens at 9 a.m. ET on Friday, around when we’ll likely learn what the Pride got in return.
