Women’s sports continue to be under-covered on and off the field. Since our inception in 2009, we’ve dedicated fair, professional coverage exclusively to women’s soccer. Women’s sports are sports. Period. We’re here to tell those stories creatively. Are you a freelancer with the same goals? If so, let’s talk.
Opportunities
Writing
We’re looking for unique, compelling stories which bring fresh perspectives. NWSL and USWNT are our bread and butter, but we’re increasingly global. Pitch us something we can’t find anywhere else. Let’s advance the conversation.
Editing
We’re looking for more hands on deck to sub-edit and upload copy. At times, we have more stories written than we have hands to upload them. The ideal person has a sharp eye and knows how to package stories — on a page and on social.
Social Media
From strategy to execution, we’re looking for teammates to give us a consistent, strong social presence across multiple platforms. Ideally, you’d have basic skills creating graphics/GIFs and a vision for strategy. Knowledge of women’s soccer preferred.
Work Where You Are
We’re a remote team and you would work from where you are, when you can. We’d set schedules and expectations together. Current opportunities are freelance positions, typically paid via monthly stipend.
