Dan Lauletta | #TheDanLauletta | Contributor, New York Fury | Dan Lauletta isn’t on Twitter, but he should be. He is a statistical mastermind and a freelance writer based in the Northeast. He has covered professional women’s soccer since the dawn of WUSA in 2001 and has attended all six pro league finals (three WUSA Founders Cups and three WPS finals). He has also covered MLS, the U.S. Women’s National Team and several other sports in the area.

She played competitive soccer in high school at Churchill High School in Potomac, MD and through her freshman year of college at Howard Community College. Liviu Bird | @LiviuBird | Contributor, Seattle Sounders Women | Liviu Bird is a soccer player and journalism student. He played collegiately for two years at Highline Community College before transferring to Seattle Pacific University. This summer he will play for the Kitsap Pumas of the PDL. Debby von Winckelmann | @LAWomensSports | Contributor, SoCal Soccer | Debby von Winckelmann is a Los Angeles-based freelance writer and photographer who has covered soccer at the high school, college, and W-League levels, serving as Media Relations Director for the Los Angeles Strikers in 2011. In addition to her column on LA Women’s Sports for, Debby’s work has appeared in the Santa Clarita Signal newspaper and Los Angeles Sports and Fitness magazine. She loves the game, as a fan and a player of indoor and outdoor soccer in recreational leagues.

Harjeet Johal | @HarJournalist | Contributor, Vancouver Whitecaps Women | Harjeet is an aspiring 27-year-old journalist looking for a career in sports journalism in a major North American sports market. Harjeet’s love of sports and journalism started at the early age of five. She has always known what she’s wanted to do in life. Throughout high school and post secondary school Harjeet has strived for classes, courses and programs related to journalism. Harjeet has worked as an intern at CTV BC, and Shaw TV in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Rachel Allison | @rallis2 | Contributor, Chicago Red Stars | A lifelong soccer enthusiast, Rachel is currently a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at the University of Illinois, where she studies gender and sport. Andrew Robinson | @ADRobinson32 | Contributor, Philadelphia Area Soccer | Andrew Robinson is a 2011 graduate of Penn State currently residing in Willow Grove, Penn. and will be covering the Philadelphia Fever in the WPSL Elite League. During his time at Penn State, he majored in journalism and spent three and a half years writing and editing for the university’s student newspaper, The Daily Collegian. Andrew covered the 14-consecutive Big Ten title winning Penn State women’s soccer team through the 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons and the men’s team during the 2010 regular season and 2010 and 2011 spring seasons.

Steve Bruno | @SBrunoPhoto | Contributor, Atlanta Silverbacks | Steve has a degree in Magazines with a specialization in Photojournalism from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of Gwinnett Technical College’s Commercial Photography program.  A gross lack of talent and the coordination of a newborn deer forced Steve to retire from soccer in high school, but this has done nothing to deter his passion for the sport.  Primarily a wedding and studio photographer, he shoots soccer purely out of love and respect for the game.  Steve is also wrapping up photography on a 5-year book project with over 12,000 images documenting the history of Star Wars collectibles, due out later this year.

Meg Linehan | @betternovembers | Multimedia Contributor, Boston Breakers | Meg Linehan is a graduate of American University and a freelance photographer/designer.  While down in Washington, D.C. attending college, she began working with local bands and also covered concerts for local and online media, including photographing U2.  Having returned to her home state of Massachusetts in 2009 to work in the biotech field, Meg is eager to help expand the coverage of women’s soccer in the United States.
