What does a team with ample attacking talent that just won the National Women’s Soccer League championship need? Four United States women’s national team players, apparently.

NJ/NY Gotham FC executed a coup on the NWSL free-agency market, landing four of the biggest names on the list this offseason: Crystal Dunn, Tierna Davidson, Rose Lavelle and Emily Sonnett. Now, what does all this mean for the team on the field? On paper, Gotham added strength on strength.
