Young Canadian midfielder Julia Grosso signed her first professional contract with reigning Italian champions Juventus, the club announced on Monday. She will be available beginning with a league cup match on Jan. 5. Grosso scored the decisive penalty kick in the Olympic gold-medal match in August. She played college ball at Texas. Grosso was first capped by Canada at age 17 and made the 2019 World Cup roster.
