Kickin’ Back with Bethany Balcer

OL Reign forward Bethany Balcer joins the Kickin’ Back podcast to discuss her journey thus far, and her current place as a thriving forward who leads the National Women’s Soccer League in goals.

You might know Balcer’s backstory of going undrafted in 2019, becoming the first player from the NAIA to sign in the NWSL, being named NWSL rookie of the year, and then getting called into United States women’s national team camp. In this podcast, Balcer details parts of that journey, while also talking about the here and now, and why she should not be defined exclusively by her past. Balcer also discusses her life off the field, including mental health and her faith.
