New FAWSL signings to watch

The opening day of the new FA Women’s Super League season is just two weeks away. In preparation for the campaign, most of the 12 teams have made significant additions to their squads. 

We at The Equalizer will introduce five signings who are new to the league, analyzing their game and assessing what they will bring to the FAWSL. Our profiles include a Japanese creator, a versatile Swedish defender, and a Jamaican striker who is among the world’s best finishers.

Nathalie Bjorn (Everton)

Bjorn arrives at Everton on the back of a strong showing at the Tokyo Olympics, where she was a key member of a Swedish defensive line that kept three clean sheets in six games to clinch a silver medal. The 24-year-old, previously of Rosengard, started four of those games, including the comprehensive 3-0 win over the USA and the final defeat to Canada.
