It’s finally here. The 2021 National Women’s Soccer League season is about to begin. The action starts Friday night with the NWSL Challenge Cup which will run through May 8. The regular season is tentatively scheduled to start a week after that. Following is a team-by-team look at the Challenge Cup, starting with the East division followed by the West. My predictions and other news and notes are below.
