The latest: Manchester United took the provisional lead with a 2-0 win over Birmingham City, but their three-point lead over Chelsea is tempered by the Blues now having two matches in hand following a weather postponement at Bristol City. Chelsea will get one game back on Wednesday at Aston Villa.

The latest: Postponements continue to scramble the table but nothing has stopped Barcelona, who hammered Rayo Vallecano 7-0 in a makeup match. Asisat Oshoala and Alexia Putellas both had braces. The table includes Tuesday’s 1-0 win for Real Madrid over Santa Teresa to kick off the week.

The latest: Khadija “Bunny” Shaw had her third hat trick of the season to lead Bordeaux’s 7-1 annihilation of Stade de Reims. The win keeps Bordeaux in control in the battle for the newly installed third Champions League spot in France. Shaw doubled her Golden Boot lead to a pair over Marie-Antoinette Katoto, who settled for two of PSG’s five goals away to Guingamp. The 5-0 win kept PSG a point ahead of Lyon, who defeated Paris FC, 5-0.

Jess Fishlock (Reign) had an assist and played a role in a second goal to help Reading draw Aston Villa 2-2. She did not get an assist on the opener but it was her shot that was bobbled by the keeper and put in on the rebound… Emily Van Egmond (Pride) scored West Ham’s first of three goals in a shutout of Durham in the Continental Cup… Sam Kerr played 82 minutes for Chelsea before being subbed out with her side trailing 2-1 only to see them rally to defeat Manchester City, 4-2 in extra time, also in Continental Cup play… Christen Press (Louisville, rights) was an unused sub for Manchester United, who downed Birmingham City, 2-0. Tobin Heath (Louisville, rights) is injured and could be out for a bit according to Man United coach Casey Stoney… The Manchester City trio of Abby Dahlkemper (Courage, rights), Rose Lavelle (Reign, rights) and Sam Mewis (Courage, rights) were unavailable while in camp with the United States.

Kaleigh Riehl (Louisville) played the full match for Paris FC, who were overwhelmed 5-0 by Lyon. Evelyne Viens (Sky Blue) was not in the 18 for Paris. Ellie Carpenter went all the way for Lyon. Catarina Macario arrived at Lyon following U.S. friendlies but has yet to be available… Celeste Boureille (Thorns) went 90 for Fleury 91 against Montpellier, a match that did not find a goal… Darian Jenkins (Courage) was not on the team sheet for Bordeaux who were just fine in a 7-1 route of Stade de Reims.

Mallory Weber (Kansas City) is out with a hamstring injury and did not suit up for Adelaide United in their 2-1 win over Melbourne City… Samantha Johnson played 90 for City and saw a late yellow card.

*German’s Frauen-Bundesliga is still on break until Feb. 12.
