Which teams were hit the hardest by the NWSL Expansion Draft?

Racing Louisville FC finally dipped into the rosters of their nine rival National Women’s Soccer League squads in Thursday’s expansion draft and set the framework for the club that will take the field next spring.

I’ll let Jeff Kassouf break down the players Louisville acquired and how they might impact the new club. But what about the teams that lost players? Here’s a look at how all of the existing teams fared in the aftermath of the best expansion draft seen in WoSo so far.

9. Chicago Red Stars

The Red Stars “got ahead” of the expansion draft by trading Yuki Nagasato and Savannah McCaskill plus a high draft pick and international slot to Louisville in exchange for protection for everyone else. Now that it’s over, that still seems like a lot to give up.
