We at The Equalizer are going to continue to try to bring you more content and more connection to the game you love. That’s why I’m sitting here in Columbus, Ohio, a few hours ahead of the United States women’s national team’s friendly match against Sweden, answering your questions.
We put out a call on Twitter for subscribers to send questions about Thursday’s match, which will mark Vlatko Andonvski’s first in charge as head coach. We’ll try to do more of this Q+A format, and we’ll make sure to alert you via email and other channels so you know how and when to submit questions. This will be exclusively for subscribers — an extra perk that gets you closer to the action and information, and one which thanks you for your support. Anyone can still submit questions to our weekly podcast, too.
If you aren’t already subscribing, I recommend you do so. You’ll get a wealth of premium U.S. national team and National Women’s Soccer League content which features the most in-depth reporting and regular analysis on the web. Plus, you’ll get a shot at subscriber giveaways, like our recent U.S. national team bobblehead giveaways for subscribers.
For now, here are the answers to your Twitter questions:
