RALEIGH, NC. — The United States women are in North Carolina this week where they will kick off the Concacaf Women’s Championship on Thursday against Mexico. The top three finishers in the eight-nation tournament will qualify for the World Cup next year in France.

The Equalizer’s Jeff Kassouf is on the scene and caught up with a trio of U.S. regulars to get their thoughts on all things World Cup qualifying. Not to be overlooked — the U.S. struggles in 2010, when an upset loss to Mexico nearly scuttled their trip to the 2011 World Cup.
