NWSL returned with Marta going off against the Dash, the Courage extending their lead at the top of the table, and Sky Blue FC pouncing early in Portland en route to a fourth franchise win at Providence Park. Meanwhile, Carli Lloyd returned but many of the league’s stars are sidelined with injuries. Here is the latest:
