In front of a nearly sold out home crowd, the Boston Breakers’ first winning streak (two games) of the season was snapped by the Houston Dash behind two goals from Kealia Ohai and one from Carli Lloyd. Natasha Dowie scored the Breakers’ lone goal one minute into stoppage time.
Ohai wasted little time and tallied her first goal of the night in just the third minute of play when Carli Lloyd, back from her Olympic break, played her a ball out to the left side of the penalty area. Ohai then continued on where she placed the ball into the top right corner from a tight angle just outside the six-yard box.

On her second goal, she made a run into space from Houston’s defensive half, and dribbled all the way down just outside of the penalty area from where she unleashed her left-footed shot that sent the ball into the lower far corner to double the lead.
