The first 10 positions of the FIFA Women’s World Ranking went unchanged in the latest edition released on Friday, with the United States still at No. 1 following a triumph at the 2015 World Cup.
Switzerland reached an all-time high, climbed four places to a No. 15 ranking in the world after wins over Italy and Czech Republic to qualify for Euro 2017. Switzerland made the Round of 16 at last year’s World Cup. Iceland also climbed four spots to 16th place, one short of an all-time high.

Argentina, Guam, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bhutan are no longer in the official rankings due to inactivity, leaving 132 teams in the ranking. Bulgaria is a newly ranked team.
The next rankings will be released on August 26, following the Rio 2016 Olympics.
