Sad to say I won't be returning to @WNYFlash this season. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all off the supporters and my teammates#NWSL

Heyman appeared in all five of Australia’s World Cup matches last year and registered one assist. She is currently in Japan ahead of what figures to be a contentious Asian Olympic qualifying tournament beginning this weekend. Last October she wrote a first-person account of her experiences for National Coming Out Day.
With Heyman out of the mix, the Flash now have two international roster spots to work with. They gained one two weeks ago when Sabrina D’Angelo became an allocated player by the Canadian Soccer Association.
