Included in England’s squad is Jodie Taylor of the Portland Thorns, the only NWSL player included in the 23. Katie Chapman, who has not suited up for the Three Lionesses since the World Cup, is also in the team as is Alex Scott.
Two of England’s matches will be rematches of World Cup ties. Mark Sampson’s side lost a 1-0 decision to France in the opener for both. The tournament concluded for England with a 1-0 win over Germany, in extra time, in the third place match.
