The Houston Dash on Wednesday unveiled new jerseys for the 2016 NWSL season, rolling out a variation of the solid block orange which they wore in their first two seasons.

The jerseys seem to be a slight ode to the retro Houston Astros look.

“We think it’s something with people in Houston will identify with and love to wear,” Dash managing director Brian Ching told the Houston Chronicle.

The jerseys were unveiled in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Allysha Chapman and Janine Becky — one of the team’s three first-round draft picks last month — are in town with the Canadian national team for CONCACAF Olympic qualifying and were able to model the jerseys.
