Conference Championship Sunday is here, but the best goal we’ve seen in a while came int he semifinals of the Big East tournament. Providence senior Catherine Zimmerman scored from about 35 yards out on Friday, drilling a shot over the head of Georgetown goalkeeper Emma Newins, who was caught out of position. Have a look at this gem:

How ambitious was Zimmerman? Well, about 10 minutes before scoring from 35 yards, she nearly found net from 40 yards.

The match ended 1-1 in extra time before Providence pulled the upset, winning 4-2 in the shootout. Providence will play Butler in the Big East Championship on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET.
