
The Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympics will take place exactly one year from today, August 5.
Soccer actually begins play three days prior to the Opening Ceremony and is the first sport to commence action at the Games. The United States will attempt to win a fourth consecutive gold medal and fifth in six tries next year in Rio.
