United States Vice President Joe Biden was in attendance to watch his country claim the 2015 Women’s World Cup title on Sunday in Vancouver.
And we knew the President Barack Obama called the team the morning after the victory to congratulate them.
But the video evidence — which records both ends of the call — is pretty darn awesome. Whether Obama was watching intently or just got a really good briefing on the game, his knowledge was impressive, even noting Carli Lloyd’s missed header for a would-be fourth goal and her visualization tactics, which included dreaming of scoring four goals in a World Cup final.
Have a look at the video above.
