Alex Morgan, Christen Press and Abby Wambach will appear on an episode of “The Simpsons” on Sunday.
The trio of United States women’s national team forwards were “Simpsonized” — transformed into yellow cartoon characters — for the episode of the iconic show on Fox that has aired since 1990. The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET on Fox, a few hours after the U.S. women kick off their send-off series with a match against Ireland on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
