Paris Saint-Germain picked up a huge win over two-time holders VfL Wolfsburg in Leg 1 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League semifinals on Saturday.
Sabrina Delannoy scored from the penalty spot in the 13th minute and Shirley Cruz added a second away goal in the 26th minute for PSG.
Wolfsburg will need at least two away goals in a shutout in regulation in Leg 2 to at least force extra time, or their dream of a three-peat will be no more. PSG are seeking a first-ever trip to the final.
Brøndby IF and heavily favored 1. FFC Frankfurt kick-off Leg 1 of their semifinal on Sunday.
