The road to Houston hasn’t been an easy one for Ella Masar. There was the magicJack fiasco in 2011 — and Masar is still the only player to reveal much of any detail from that — and, more tragically, the loss of her father later that year.
On May 23, Masar scored the first home Houston Dash goal in team history. She ripped her shirt off in an animated celebration, a move fitting for a player who wears her heart on her sleeve.
