Russia appears to be coming to the United States for a pair of friendlies, although there is no official word on any such games stateside.
The Russian federation lists on their website a Feb. 5-13 training camp in the U.S. and includes friendly matches on Feb. 8 and Feb. 12.
Reached Wednesday, U.S. Soccer did not confirm any such games. The only match currently on the United States women’s national team’s official schedule is the Jan. 31 tie against Canada in Frisco, Texas. The U.S. women will gather on Jan. 8 in Carson, Calif., for training camp ahead of that match.
There will also reportedly be a pair of United States vs. France friendlies in June, and while U.S. Soccer has not yet confirmed those, the odds look pretty good with France coach Philippe Bergerôo as the source.
