Tom Sermanni named his roster of 25 players for the United States women’s national teams three upcoming October matches.
The U.S. will play Australia on Oct. 20 in San Antonio, Texas, and New Zealand on Oct. 27 and Oct. 30 in San Francisco and Columbus, Ohio, respectively. Sermanni will dress 18 players for each match. Players based in France and Sweden will not be available until after the Oct. 20 match due to club commitments in Europe. Additionally Stephanie Cox and Leigh Ann Robinson will not be with the team after Oct. 20. Cox has not played for the team since April 3, 2012. She has since had a baby and returned to play for Seattle Reign FC late in the NWSL season.
