It is the second time she won our award, after scoring a hat trick in Week 12.

Lloyd scored a goal in each of the Flash’s two games last week, including a late equalizer that all but sank the playoff hopes of the Boston Breakers. Lloyd’s 86th minute equalizer gave the Flash a 2-2 draw in Boston — a familiar narrative for the two teams.

Two months earlier, the Flash stole a point on a last-second header by Jodi-Ann Robinson to tie the Breakers 2-2 at Dilboy Stadium. On Saturday, they did it again, this time through Lloyd, to erase a 2-0 deficit late.

She also scored in a 3-0 home rout of the Washington Spirit on Wednesday.

Lloyd now has seven goals in 12 games this season. Two of them are game-winners.
