The Equalizer’s Player of the Month in the National Women’s Soccer League for the month of June is FC Kansas City forward Lauren Cheney (now, as of July 7, 2013, Lauren Holiday).

Cheney tallied six goals and one assist in the month of June, in which she put in an MVP-like performance while leading FC Kansas City. Cheney has been one of the best players in the NWSL to date.
