Week 8 only had two games on the schedule, but it was a case of extremes for the NWSL attendance numbers. The two games were hosted by the clubs in first and last in home attendance this season. The week’s gates stayed true to their numbers. Portland drew another huge crowd, while Sky Blue FC had another disappointing turnout, despite sitting atop the standings.
Since there were only two games played, the numbers for the season pretty much stayed the same. This week will see five games, which will be hosted by the league’s four worst in attendance and then Portland.
