WPS has finally set the order for next Friday’s draft just over a week before the draft will take place. There are a total of 23 picks over four rounds thanks to the league losing yet another team (magicJack) prior to a draft and there being leftover picks from trades.
The draft kicks off on Friday, Jan. 13 (yes, Friday the 13th!) at 2 p.m. ET in Kansas City, Mo. There will be a webcast on www.womensprosoccer.com and The Equalizer will provide live coverage. Here’s the draft order:
