The injury Fatmire Bajramaj sustained in Turbine Potsdam’s 3-2 win over USV Jena on Sunday, originally thought to be a tendon tear above the right knee, was diagnosed on Monday as only a hemorrhage of the thigh muscle. The injury is far less serious than first feared, meaning Germany can collectively breath again.
According to German reports, the injury should only require Bajramaj to take a short break from playing. Exactly how long that will be remains unclear.
