Philadelphia, Atlanta build through expansion draft |
|
|
The Philadelphia Independence and the Atlanta Beat have begun building their rosters for 2010 through Tuesday's Expansion Draft, with Philadelphia looking like it is already beginning to build a quality team.Sue Weber, formerly of Boston, and Jen Buczkowski, formerly of Sky Blue FC, gives the Independence two strong center backs. Add former Washington Freedom midfielder Lori Lindsey to that equation and Philadelphia is already building from the inside, out, as any expansion team should do.Sharolta Nonen, previously with Los Angeles, should help Atlanta build from the back.Full reaction to come.
