PISCATAWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J.—Against a backdrop of blue skies and warm sunshine, Sky Blue FC took to their home turf on Wednesday night to once again face off against the Orlando Pride. The rematch came almost a month to the day from their first meeting, a May 27th match that saw Sky Blue emerge victorious on a late goal by Maya Hayes. Last night though, the home side would not be as lucky: Orlando struck first and struck last, scoring three goals to Sky Blue’s two. Although the results were disappointing for home crowd, the 3,065 fans in attendance no doubt left talking about what was no doubt one of the most exciting matches of the season thus far.
