The US looked weak the first 30 minutes. They almost pranced around as if they did not have to play hard. Passes were very soft and intercepted or into space with no chance for a US player to run onto the ball. The Chinese team out hustled the US team for the first part of the game. The US scored so well because too many Chinese players got tired in the second half and the US team played with more urgency in the second half. If the US wants to beat the better teams in the Olympics US players will have to start the games with intensity from the opening whistle and maintain that intensity until the end. Passing will also have to be more accurate. Otherwise no medal.
