Philadelphia Independence 1-2 magicJack: Audio and Video

Jess Fainberg August 15, 2011 5

Lisa De Vanna scored twice on Sunday to help magicJack top the Philadelphia Independence 2-1 at FAU Soccer Stadium. De Vanna’s 10th and 68th minute goals were enough to lift the home side over Philadelphia, which got a 79th minute goal from Amy Rodriguez to add some drama to the end of the match. Geoff Solomon caught all three goals on video and Jess Fainberg chatted with Abby Wambach, Sophie Schmidt and De Vanna postgame.

as a mj fan, it’s nice to them back on track a bit. will their player coach thing work under pressure against boston? De Vanna is a little bug. they’re a completely different with the magicfool calling the shots. well, for the league’s sake, they will at least advance to philly. they probably bring a crazy crowd to PPL, just to see Hope and Abby alone. go jacks!

If the Boston Breakers plays against the magicJacks like they did against Sky Blue FC yesterday, I am sure it will be a very very close match. At the level that Boston Breakers were playing yesterday, I say they have the potential to run through the playoffs and go against WNY Flash. While I see potential in Boston Breakers, I, of course, am still rooting for magicJacks because I loves me some Hope, Whambock, Ranpwn, and Pinoe ;p
