Allie Long’s 15th minute goal proved to be the game-winner for Sky Blue FC in a 2-0 victory over magicJack (5-6-2, 16 pts.) at FAU Soccer Field on Wednesday in front of a sellout crowd of 3,286 fans. Abby Wambach’s own goal in the 68th minute was the insurance goal for Sky Blue FC (5-5-4, 19 pts). The Equalizer’s Jess Fainberg was on site at the match and got the below audio of Wambach, Megan Rapinoe, Tobin Heath and Heather O’Reilly. All four players are fresh off a second place finish at the Women’s World Cup with the U.S. Women’s National Team.
